Starting Shutterfly Yearbooks Now

Now that school has started, I need to start collecting drawings, photos and ideas to put in the kids' yearbook. I store all our photos on Shutterfly so I use them for all my photo albums. Since I homeschool, I'm totally going to take advantage of their yearbooks. We do a family photo album every year at Christmas, but I like the idea of also doing a yearbook for each kid that will be just about them and their accomplishments.

If you've never seen Shutterfly yearbooks, they have beautifully designed pages perfect for a school theme (says the picky designer). And the editing software is so easy to use and very flexible, which is a big deal.

We're only a few weeks into school and we've already gone on our first field trip, the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. Isaac drew a picture and wrote a poem about it. Reece has been pretending with our tickets we brought home. She wants to hand them out and check people into the aquarium. And ofcourse, the photos tell great stories too.  The below picture looks like the shark is looking right at Silas. This trip will definitely be going in their yearbooks.
