Summer Swimming
The kids have been swimming every week this Summer, and sometimes more than once a week. They would go everyday if I let them. Both of them are so much more comfortable in the pool and doing so much better than the beginning of the Summer.
Isaac can swim by himself in the deep end. He jumps in, dives for toys and floats on his back. Reece would not do much at the beginning of the Summer, now she will jump to me from the side of the pool, she will put her face under water and swims dog paddle with her head above water. Silas will jump in from the side of the pool, he's gone under water a few times and holds his breath pretty well. Although, he doesn't always like to go under water. He loves to play chase the older kids and he thinks it's hilarious to splash us. He also loves to throw in Isaac's dives toys. We've had a fun and eventful Summer, I'm ready for fall but I know the kids will still want to swim more if the weather permits.

Camp Invention
Isaac was able to go to a science camp this Summer at his school, TCA. Since he's all about science, this was right up his alley and he was super excited. He got to take a device apart and create something new with it. They created a magnatropolis with magnets, they went into a time machine, did games, created a submarine out of recycled material and he and his partner invented a method to burst a water balloon with a golf ball.

Summer Trip to Sacramento
We had a blast in Sacramento. We were able to spend an entire week there, daddy joined us for the last few days. We camped, we splashed, we danced, we played, we golfed, we talked, we jumped and we ate. It was a great time with family. The kids are always sad to leave. For all the photos from our trip, click here.
Each kid got to ride in the ball picker with grandpa, even Silas.
The kids love bouncing on the trampoline at grandma and grandpas house.
We got a special visit from Jacob's aunt Jeannie. We loved seeing her and visitng with her.
