Halloween Day
Rapunzal, the knight and our little monkey were ready for Halloween. I know Rapunzal has either straight hair or a braid down the back, but I wanted to do something fun with Reece's hair that looked princessy (sp?) and kept it out of her face. So I made a headband french braid that tied under her straight hair. I like how it turned out.
We took the kids to a small church in our neighborhood (The Neighborhood Church actually) that hosts a harvest festival. It's perfect because there aren't many people so the kids got to slide and bounce as much as they wanted. They also had lots of free activities and trunk or treating. Isaac made a fish pumpkin.
Reece got her face painted and won cupcakes at the cake walk.
Then we hit the streets to do some traditional trick or treating. This couple was in our complex, there was lots of kids and families walking around. It was nice to talk to people we've never met before.
Our pumpkins, Angry birds and a kitty cat.
Music Class Halloween Party
We don't attend the music class anymore, but we still love the people and going to the park. So we joined the festivities this year by dressing up and having lots of fun Halloween treats. I had fun making labels for our chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick.
Bates Nut Farm
Our annual trip to Bates was so fun. It was nice and hot, not at all Fall weather. Thankfully, we go there early enough that we could leave before it was too hot. The kids loved feeding the goats leaves and the hayride the best. Silas was fascinated with the hay and the animals.
