Christmas Highlights

Here are some highlights over Christmas time. Isaac helped mommy make sugar cookies for the first time. He loved using the rolling pin and the cookie cutters. And ofcourse watched them cook in the oven. We let him decorate them as well and he didn't like the frosting at first but once he had a taste, he loved it.

One of Isaac's presents this Christmas was a chest full of little boy dress up clothes from Grandpa Kenney. This is Isaac in the pirate outfit. Isaac knows the pirate and cowboy from his Backyardigans shows, so those are his favorite. He even lets me put the eye patch on him.

This was the first Christmas where Jake and I felt the excitement and fun of putting out presents after Isaac went to bed and then seeing his excitement in the morning when he saw them. He got lots of great toys from grandma's and grandpa's and aunts and uncles and friends. Thank you all for helping making Isaac's Christmas so much fun. He also got to hang out with his new cousin Declan and his "not-related" cousin Mikayla. We all ate too much food and lounged around all day, good times.
