14 months old

It's been a while since I've given a overall update on Reece's latest news. She seems to be doing things so much faster than Isaac so I want to make sure I'm documenting all this. At 14 months, Reece is starting to say words, she can say "NO" very well (thanks to Isaac), mama, daddy, Baby, Boo (we play peek-a-boo a lot), banana which she says as "ma-ma", please (signs please while saying "neaa"). She loves to say "Hi" and "Bye" to people, and will give anyone a high-five. She knows the word bath, anytime we say it she takes off on a sprint to the bathroom.

She loves to play pat-a-cake, hide and go seek, and peek-a-boo in her crib. She is getting out of eating baby food and wants whatever we are eating. She'll try to eat anything, but if she doesn't like it she'll drop it on the floor (our carpet is hideous). She likes to close doors and turn off lights. She wants to walk whenever she can which means a lot of chasing after her. She definitely likes dogs, she tries to make a "woof" sound when she sees one. Everyone who meets her says what big beautiful eyes she has and how cute she is.

She loves to swing, sit in big people chairs and be pushed on her little car. She has already figured out how to jump, she jumps with Isaac on our bed and our little trampoline. She has also figured out how to sip through a straw recently, which I think Isaac was 2 before he figured that out. She has also started coloring, I'm sure from watching Isaac constantly draw. She spent a solid 30 minutes drawing the other day, which is a long time for her to sit in one place.

We go to a free music class at the park each week, and Reece loves to bop up and down and play her instrument to the music. She also says "yay" and claps after every song. She is our little dancer, smiley, talky, go getter girl. We are so enjoying watching her grow.

oober fun, I am going to have to get a doddle pad for Roshni so she can be a pro, so when we get on the plane in a few months she'll be able to entertain herself.

Poor Isaac is going to have a major sibling rivalry thing going on if you keep saying his little sister learns everything faster :).
