Happy Birthday to our 3-year old girl

She looks so big in this picture I can hardly believe she's 3 already. We got to celebrate a little early with grandma Kenney, aunt Becky and cousins Roshni and Ronin when they came down  last week. Reece is blessed with sewers in the family who made her a sleeping beauty dress and apron. She absolutely loves them. She has been wearing them everyday since.
We had a birthday party for Reece yesterday on Valentine's day. She had a "dress-up" party so she could wear her princess dresses. Thanks to all her friends for coming over to help her celebrate. We loved seeing all the dress-up clothes and for the brave few who let me paint on their face. The kids had a blast and way to much sugar, so I think it was successful. Plus, mommy got to try her hand at baking cupcakes, frosting and pound cake from scratch. That's right, no boxed anything. I amazed myself.

What Reece is like at 3:
She only weighs around 29 lbs. She hardly eats anything these days, unless it's from a restaurant. Thankfully, she still loves fruit. She is taking preschool karate and loving it. She is learning letter recognition thanks to starfall.  She loves to dance in her dress up clothes and play with her little people. However, she doesn't like it when her big brother is too rough with her toys. She is learning how to take off her socks and shoes and how to pull her pants on by herself. She LOVES to talk and be girly.  She loves to help mommy cook and even clean. She is super friendly to strangers and always wants to pet animals or babies whenever she sees them.

Although, among all the cuteness she still throws fits when she doesn't get what she wants. She'll even put on a pout and turn her head the other way. Typical 3-year old power struggle stuff.  Even so, we're so proud of our little girl and just love her to pieces. See the below post for pictures of the birthday party.
