8 weeks old!!

So, it's been way too long since we last updated. So much has been happening at the Marta residence. Here's a brief recap. 2 weeks ago we had to take Silas to the ER because he had black poop for 3 days. Dr. said he was fine and healthy so not to worry. We then find out Silas was not covered for that visit (long story). Our computer died a week and a half ago. Thanks to two mac technicians we were able to recover all our files and programs and get a new G5. Then our new van was plowed into and totaled last Wednesday night by our neighbor. So we were without a family car for 5 days. Thankfully our pastor said they had an extra car we could borrow until we get a new car. All that plus the daily happenings of having two small kids and a newborn.

Silas had his 2-month appointment today. He is 11 lbs. 9oz and 23.6" long. It looks like Reece takes the trophy for being the biggest at 2 months of age. I thought Silas would have been the largest baby since he eats so much. The doctor was impressed at how well he held his head up. He got 3 shots in the leg. Isaac and Reece both plugged their ears in anticipation to his screaming, which he did ofcourse. He also quickly came down with a fever of 100 and felt aweful all day. We've been praying for him all day cause it's just so hard to see your baby with a fever.
