Reece had a fun birthday party. It was gloomy outside so we kept it indoors. Grandma and Grandpa Marta, Grandma Kenney, Aunt Becky and cousin Roshni were here to help celebrate. She received lots of wonderful gifts that Isaac is enjoying as well. He was a big help in opening the presents as well. We had some taco salad for dinner and strawberry cupcakes with strawberry frosting for desert. Reece wasn't keen on the texture of the cupcakes. She had a few tastes but she didn't eat it (much like her brother on his 1st birthday). However, she loved the rasberry sorbet. Check our shutterfly page for more photos.
She had her doctor appointment on the 17th. The doctor said she is petite like her mom. Here are her stats: weight - 19lbs. 8oz. Height - 28.5" Head - 17.5" She's in the 25 percentile on all of them. We can't turn her carseat around yet, not until she's 20lbs. Isaac was 21 lbs. 7oz. and 30" tall at 12 months. So she is definitely smaller. She got 5 shots this time, in the arm. She recovered very well and didn't get tired at all afterwards.
We all went to the Air and Space Museum this week, it was pouring rain outside so it was quite a popular indoor activity that day, it was packed. Isaac loves the shark airplanes and the jet fighters ofcourse. Reece wanted to walk everywhere and anywhere she wanted. We had lots of fun.

I can't believe your one-year-old and my four-month-old are the same height! My child is going to be HUGE! ;)
I'm so glad that we got to Skype you just in time to sing "Happy Birthday". Thanks for carrying the computer around and making us a part of the event!
