Happy New Year

This last month has been a busy month, but enjoyable as well. We managed to do a little of everything and still managed to keep our sanity. We got the kids together to see Santa at the California Grand Hotel in Downtown Disney. Isaac was fine sitting on his lap, however, none of the toddlers wanted anything to do with him. So the mommies got to be in the picture too.

One of my favorite things about Christmas is participating in Operation Christmas Child, and this year I was able to help at one of the distribution centers. It was so neat to see how that all works and to help with such a great cause. I hope to do it again next year.

Isaac and Reece both helped me make Christmas cookies this year. Isaac loves to help, especially since he gets to eat the final product. They loved to frost the cookies ofcourse, and dad got in on the action as well. That night Isaac said "This is the greatest Christmas ever!" All he needs are cookies to make him happy.

Jake and I got to have a fancy dinner night out at Jake's annual Christmas party for his work. We didn't win any prizes but it was a lot of fun.

Then, we made the long drive up to Sac for our family Christmas. First Christmas was at the Martas and we had Uncle Jason and Aunt Coleen there this year. We had a lot of fun, Isaac and Reece were completely entertained but the Train grandpa had setup around the tree. They loved Sneakers too, but we had to warn them to give her space, since she is a little unpredictable. So, now anytime we say Sneakers, Reece says "Sneakers Bite."

Second Christmas was at the Kenney house. The kids love to play with Roshni, so they had a blast just running around in the living room to grandma's chiming Christmas bells. This picture is of the tutu's grandma made for both the girls. I don't know where the instinct is but they knew to prance around as soon as they put them on. We even got to see my brother Patrick and Mary-frances who we were not expecting to see this year. So, we were able to see all our siblings and parents this year, which was great.

Our third Christmas was back in SoCal, we drove to Glendora to see Uncle David, Aunt Jo and Declan.

We had a great time visiting and eating with all our family. So glad we could share it with you all.
