Life in June
June has already been packed with fun events. These are pics of the kids at our friend Kallin's birthday party. They got their first snow cones, they didn't finish them. They got to wack at a pinata, this is Reece's mouth full of 8 pieces of candy she quickly picked up and shoved all into her mouth. We know there was 8 because she had to spit them out. Isaac got to play some baseball with the big kids and ofcourse his good friend Jeremiah.
Grandma and Grandpa Kenney came down for a visit. We were able to take them to Legoland, where they watched the kids do all the rides. They also went to Grandpa Kenney's favorite, the Museum of Making Music. It's a small museum but has a lot of history and even an interactive room where you can play the instruments (with headphones ofcouse). I was totally weirded out that people like Madonna and Divo were in the museum's music video section. People I listened to in school are now in museums? Am I that old already?
This last week was our Vegetable planting week. Jake built a 3ft by 3ft. planter box on wheels that we could move to get our vegetables the most sun (we don't get a lot in the back). What an awesome hubby.
The kids loved scooping dirt and help planting our first plants, the tomato, basil and serrano chili plant. We've stocked up on seeds, so hopefully we can have some wonderful vegetables growing in our yard this year. Maybe Isaac will even eat one.
