We have a 5-year old now

Isaac was able to have two birthday parties this year, one with Sacramento family and one with his friends at his favorite place, SeaLife. He had so much fun at SeaLife with his friends, they saw a scuba diver show and even got to have a shark cake in the diner at the end. It was perfect!

Isaac is growing so fast and turning into such a big boy. He's around 43" tall (which is 3ft. 7 in"), loves sharks and anything to do with the ocean. He wants to be an ichthyologist (someone who studies fish). He is reading super well for his age. He is learning to write and asks to spell big words like "cartilage." He loves science, I think daddy is a big influence on that. He loves his little sister and can't wait for baby #3 to come. He talks to my belly and kisses it almost everyday. He's learning to ride his two-wheel bike and has taken quite a few bails better than we thought. He always wants to please us, he likes to point out to us that he was being a good listener when Reece was not.

We're incredibly proud of him, and are just amazed at him everyday. I'm so thankful that God blessed us with such a wonderful boy 5 years ago. I remember holding him as a newborn and tears coming to my eyes thinking about how much this little boy meant to us and how much we loved him. It makes me think about something my grandmother once told me "Once you pick them up, you never put them down." He's changed our whole lives, from my job to our views on so many different things. We love you little man!
