KIA!

Isaac has been taking the Preschool Karate class again through our recreation center here in Escondido. The teacher, Miss Leah, is so awesome. She has no problem making sure the kids listen and follow her directions. Isaac is now in the advanced class since he "mastered" the beginner class. It's great because there are only a handful of kids and they do a little harder lessons. He will be getting his first stripe next week.  Reece is imitating everything they do in class. She does "front kick... KIA" and "jump and switch" and also tries to count in Japanese. I think she'll take to the class great when it's her turn.

We were blessed with a 3-month pass to Legoland and we've been twice so far. We've yet to make it through the entire park, because we've only gone for a couple hours max each time. Isaac's favorite is the new Sea Life aquarium they built onto the side of Legoland. If you don't have a pass it costs an extra $18 per person (I think $16 for kids) to get in. Yikes! This is the first year Isaac has been able to do the car ride. The kids get to drive their own little Lego car around a track. He drove into the wall twice.

All the California people out there know we've had a massive downpour of rain this past week. The kids were stuck inside for most of the week, but they just loved watching the rain come down and watching for lightning. Daddy loves the weather, which is great because he'll take the kids out and look at all the fun stuff that happens when it rains. Mommy likes to stay inside where it's warm and dry.
