Sacramento and San Fransisco

Our trip up north was a blast. Thanks to all the family and friends who accomodated us on our trip. We started our week with one day in Sacramento then we made a quick day trip down to San Fransisco. We visited the San Fransisco Academy of Science with one of my good friends who lives there in the city. Isaac was in heaven with the aquarium part of the museum. On our way to the museum Isaac said "My eyes can't wait to see it." Reece was totally happy playing in the super cool toddler play room with Annika. I had to drag her away from it to see the rest of the museum.  We drove around the city after lunch and saw the Blue Angels practicing over the bay and flying over the golden gate bridge. By late afternoon, the kids were exhausted and Isaac was asking to go home.

Back in Sacramento we had lots of fun visiting with family. The cousins loved to jump on the trampoline together. They loved playing at Fairytale town and just playing together.

We decided to throw Isaac an early birthday party with the family while we were up there. Isaac could not wait until 3:00 for his party to start. He told me he wanted fish balloons and fish decorations. He loved to help decorate for his party, especially his underwater mural he drew on the tablecloth.

My grandma was able to come out for the party. It was so awesome to have her there, she even participated in a small game of balloon toss around the table. My grandma still has some quick reflexes even though she can hardly see.

Isaac got lots of cool presents that he loves. Grandpa decided to get Isaac trick candles for his cake. Poor Isaac just kept blowing the candles out, trying his hardest.

We had tons of fun, Isaac was so sad we had to leave that he cried when we told him. He wanted to stay and play with everyone and continue to have fun. Luckily our vacation didn't end there. We continued our trip southward to Pismo Beach which I'll talk about in the next post.
